自己紹介

振り返ると、私が大学に入学した1996年はMicrosoft Windows 95やNetscape Navigatorなど、誰もがインターネットを利用できる情報環境がごく当たり前になった時代でした。大学ではグライダー部に所属して操縦技術を学ぶ中で、インターネットや映像メディアを上手に利用して教える・学ぶ方法について興味を持つようになりました。大学就職後はオープンコースウェアのコンテンツを開発する仕事をする中で、インターネット上で誰もがオープンに教え学ぶ学習環境の可能性を感じ、私自身MOOC（大規模公開オンライン講座）を開講するなど、オープンエデュケーションの活動に取り組んできました。現在は北海道大学に所属し、教育工学とオープンエデュケーションの研究に取り組みながら、北海道大学大学院教育推進機構オープンエデュケーションセンターにて、大学内外におけるOER（オープン教育資源、Open Educational Resoureces）を活用した教育改善を進める仕事に携わっています。

About me

In 1996, when I enrolled in university, it was a time when information environments, such as Microsoft Windows 95 and Netscape Navigator, which allowed everyone to use the Internet, had become quite commonplace. As I belonged to the gliding club and learned maneuvering skills, I became interested in teaching and learning by making good use of the Internet and media. After securing a job at the university while developing content for OpenCourseWare, I began to envision a learning environment where everyone could openly teach and learn online. I currently work at Hokkaido University as a researcher in educational technology and open education research. Additionally, I am involved in the Center for Open Education at Hokkaido University, where I aim to improve education by utilizing OER (Open Educational Resources) on campus and beyond. ​​​​​​​
